Covid-19 Response

OUR COVID 19 RESPONSE

Learn how we are responding to COVID-19

At The Griffin Firm, the safety of our staff, clients and community is essential. Since the onset of the pandemic and unprecedented cultural change, we have taken numerous steps to protect our team members and clients during this time of crisis, including the introduction of virtual client meeting space via Zoom, telework and multiple signing options.

We continue to be guided by the local and national health organizations safety recommendations and make necessary adjustments, as each day provides us with evolving information that encourages us to help us slow the spread of the virus.

What is The Griffin Firm doing to keep clients safe?

The Griffin Firm understands the cultural shift towards social distancing and less physical interactions; therefore, we have adapted our business protocols to continue to work and serve in normal capacity.

Virtual Consultations and Client Meetings

We may not be able to make the physical connection with our clients, but we still value the opportunity to meet with our client’s face to face through video calling. We currently conduct our client consultations and meetings virtually on Zoom for everyone’s safety and to maintain that level of familiarity and comfort in your home.

In-Person Meetings and Signings

To ensure safe social distancing practices with adequate spacing, we limit the number of clients in the office at a time and encourage them to wear masks that cover their nose and mouth as recommended by the CDC and state government. Our spacious waiting area features seating at least six feet apart.

We welcome our clients into our conference room and conduct our meetings and signings with enough distance between those needed to complete the process.

After every client meeting, we thoroughly clean and sanitize each room to prepare it for its next use. All team members also follow cleaning and cleanliness protocols regarding sanitizing, hand washing and wearing recommended face masks. We are regularly disinfecting high touch areas.

For clients that are highly vulnerable to catching the virus due to preexisting conditions, we conduct all their meetings virtually and offer the opportunity to do contactless virtual signings.

How is The Griffin Firm supporting its team?

During the state mandated quarantine, all team members had the opportunity to work from home remotely and utilize virtual meeting space on zoom for client and team meetings. Each team member was provided with remote workstations to continue to provide our services at full capacity, due to us being consider essential workers.

We limited the number of team members in our office space to maintain social distancing protocols.

We provided our team with hand made company face masks with reusable filters.

We have recently moved into our new office suite in Prince George’s County, located at 4041 Powder Mill Rd, Suite 215, Beltsville, MD 20705, where each of our team members have their own office, spacious gathering space and conference room. Every team member can safely distance and work in the comfort of their own space.
